In order to become a California Certified and Permitted Body Contouring Practitioner by The CABCC and the State of California Senate Bill 222 you must have, complete and understand the following:
- Enroll in and successfully pass the CABCC Practitioner Course.
- Pass a LIVESCAN Fingerprint Clearance Check (You CANNOT have a felony conviction of: 1-Rape 2-Domestic Violence 3-Human Trafficking)
- Current California Driver License OR A Current California Identification Card
- SMART Cell phone or tablet (communication and audio visual)
- Abide by the CABCC Scope of Practice and Rules and Regulations
- You have 5 weeks to complete 5 Modules of the CABCC Practitioner Course instruction.
- Each module consists of 40 hours and the entire course is credited for 200 hours.
- During the 5 weeks, you may retake any module as many times as you need in order to pass.
- You may finish earlier if you wish, but you are allowed 5 weeks to finish and successfully pass the entire course.
- If it takes you longer than 5 weeks to finish the course successfully, you will be accessed $95 in order to have another 5 weeks.
- Along with passing your course, your fingerprint clearance must be cleared in order to release your certification.
- Allow at least 3 weeks for your fingerprint clearance to process.
- Fingerprints are only required once and is the payment responsibility of the applicant.
- You MUST download the CABCC Livescan form and THEN find a LIVESCAN location.
- Most CABCC applicants are submitting their fingerprints at the same time they are enrolling in the course so that successfully passing the course and your cleared fingerprints are completed together.
Please be aware that BOTH the CABCC Course AND your Cleared Livescan Fingerprints must be accomplished in order to receive your CABCC Body Contouring Practitioner Certification.
